Video is a very flat medium. In this entry, I give you a couple of tips on how to create more depth with inexpensive cameras. Oh remember, (because I didn’t say it in the video) Just because it’s video for the web…it doesn’t have to suck.

thanks for the video on the depth of field. i always wondered about that look that the movies are able to create with the blurry background. that helps a ton and makes total sense. i wish i had watched this video before shooting the video for this past sunday. that would have helped so much. thanks again
